The Best Rugged Point and Shoot Camera
A high resolution camera that is waterproof to a depth of 33 feet, freezeproof to 14 degrees, and shockproof with a drop of 4 feet. This is great for highly active people that want to be able to take a camera along with them and not have to worry about it. The camera has most all the general features of a point and shoot camera. One thing a person does give up is zoom range; the D10 only has a 3x optical zoom. If a person is looking for a little more zoom and the ability to drop the camera from a couple feet higher (not recommended), they could go with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2, but it will leave the wallet a bit lighter. Image quality between the two is fairly similar, with maybe a slight edge to the Canon, so with a better price point it is the best rugged point and shoot digital camera.
