The Best Zoom Point and Shoot Camera
30x...Wow! If you don't mind having a slightly large point and shoot camera and want to really be able to zoom in on things, then the sp-800uz is a camera that can't be beat. This is the equivalent of a 28mm - 840mm lens, a zoom range that is unheard of in the SLR realm and would cost thousands of dollars to be enough lenses to get the same range. A slight downside is the elimination of the electronic view finder, but with an excellent 3" LCD it is not much of a hinderance.
